Tyrolean Evening Folk Show - One of the best folk performances all across Europe!

Our family has been organizing Tyrolean Evenings in Innsbruck since 1967 already, and for many people we are the musical ambassadors representing Innsbruck and the alpine region around the world. Do not miss one of the best folk performances all across Europe which only includes authentic Tyrolean music, Folk dances and “shoe-slapping” as well as typical Tyrolean songs and “yodelling”.

We also offer the option to have dinner before or during our show with traditional dishes made from local products including vegetarian and vegan options. You have the possibility to have dinner at 7 p.m. before the show or at 8:30 p.m. during the programme.

Our Tyrolean Evening Shows take place all year round according to our online event calendar www.tirolerabend.info/tickets at our spectacular, traditionally styled venue with a capacity of up to 500 persons in the centre of Innsbruck, the ALPENSAAL AN DER MESSE (EXPO) which can be reached from the old town by a short walk.

The Gundolf Family - a family of musicians

As the historic timeline shows, the members of the Gundolf family were gifted with musical talent. After having performed at several events at home as well as throughout Europe, the brothers Franz, Konrad and Ernst Gundolf founded the Tyrolean family ensemble „Alpenbühne Geschwister Gundolf“ in 1967

Together with their father Kurt Gundolf, the sisters Edith and Fini as well as musician and dancer friends they started to organize their Tyrolean Evenings at the historical „Gasthaus Stiftskeller“ in Innsbruck.

A lively and varied programme has been put together with the intention to introduce visitors to authentic Tyrolean music and folk dances in a diverting and entertaining way. The Gundolf family thus preserves a piece of popular culture in the third generation. A Tyrolean Evening with the Gundolf family whisks the visitors away from everyday life and allows them to immerse themselves in the traditions of Tyrol.

Your tailor made event with the Gundolf Family

Our Tyrolean Evenings take place on a daily basis from April to the beginning of October and several times a week during the winter season. In addition, the new venue Alpensaal can also be booked exclusively for your customized event! Our venue is an ideal location for Incentive & MICE events looking for a traditional alpine setting including musical accompaniment which is always ensured, be it through traditional Tyrolean music, Advent concerts or other musical arrangements of your choice - the Gundolf family provides everything for your individually customized event.
